We moved to Vancouver Island in 2007. Marsha started writing a weekly letter to her friends back in Minnesota. Over the years two things have happened. First it’s grown and now we have a fairly large group of people that subscribe to the letter and an equally large number that set it secondhand. The second thing was that while Marsha started the letter, I’ve slowly took it over. At first She wrote all of them. Then I would offer suggestions. Then I wrote a few using her voice. Finally by mid 2009 I’d taken over the bulk of the writing. I use a conversational storytelling style, I try to emulate Dave Berry’s style, a more conversational storytelling with a healthy dose of wry wit.
