Good Morning!

Monday morning and we are getting ready for work.  Both Doug and I are up early so I thought I would use this time to get the weekly email out to folks.

Pretty much a normal week - nothing too exciting. I started my new shift on Monday. My new supervisor has never worked with web corr before so it is a learning experience for her, but I enjoy teaching so that is all well. She seems very nice so nothing to complain about.

We went to the dentist this week - the first time since we have been on the Island.  All in all pretty good exams for not having been to a dentist in awhile.  The place is fairly high tech with the X-rays right in the exam rooms and the exam room was probably about twice as big as the one's in Health Partners.  The view was alot better too!

On Saturday Doug and I went to Parksville for a kite festival and took a few pictures. Few being the operative word as the batteries went dead while we were there. But we did get a few pictures and have included them for you all to see.

Update on the BC Feet:
One of the feet has been linked to a missing person.  News conference today to find out more. Washington just came forward and said they have a corpse with no feet, so the coroner's office will be working with them to get a DNA sample. Perhaps there will be another match??

Happy Retirement to Jaki, Dale and Marilyn!

So that is it for this week. Enjoy!
